Stanley 190 Plane Question?

Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on an older Stanley 190 rabbet plane? I'm starting to pick my first planes and I've seen a lot of discussion surrounding rabbet planes. I'm wondering if this is a decent model, even though it's vintage? What would be a reasonable price to pay for one? Here's the local listing I'm considering: Stanley 190 plane. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the feedback! Considering all of your points and the condition and cost of this planer, I'm going to pass on it.

Thanks for the additional feedback and education guys! Where I'm located in NC seems to be a woodworking desert. Not much is available and what is available is either in horrible condition or way overpriced. Someone has a Craftsman C 559B listed that I may consider. However, I can't seem to find any information on it. I picked up a Millers Falls plane from a local retired guy, but I think I overpaid. I haven't had time to restore it yet. Working on my degree and family commitments have required all my time lately. I did find time to drool over the Lie-Nielson website though. :) Sadly, the trip to Maine will have to wait until I've finished this degree and landed a full-time job again. @DrRobert, do you have any suggestions for brands/models of the planes you mentioned? That would really help in my search!

Thanks @DrRobert! With so many options available it has been difficult to narrow it down. I did come across Patrick's site for Stanley planes recently. I used it tonight to look a block plane listed on Marketplace. Unfortunately, it was a model that Patrick's lists as not being a good option. I think I'm going to stick to finding things local that I can put my hands on. As my wife says, I have huge hands. I picked the Millers Falls based on how it felt in my hands. Hopefully that will work well once it's restored. As for sharpening stones, I'm set for life! I posted a little while back asking for advice as to what I should keep from a monster $40 haul I picked up. That reminds me, I need to list the extras here for someone to take advantage of.
