Any I've ever done the hoosier was just for show and not to be used. I just repainted the outside and left the rest of it. I think if it was just dirty I would clean it with detergent and rinse out with a power washer. If it's rusted inside you might have to look for replacements. There is companies around which sell replacement parts.
Thanks Steve. There is a rust problem so I may have to investigate replacements as suggested.
