I've been working with this bit of plywood, and I was hoping these bluish stains would sand out, but they have not. I googled and came with information about some kind of fungus (blue stain damaged wood).
This kind of looks like a drip-shaped mark though, so I'm not sure if it is that. Is anything I need to worry about? should I just live with it?
It's the top of a coffee table. I'm planning on oiling the surface with Osmo oil, and wondering if that will make them more or less pronounced.
Any advice appreciated.
