Hi, has anybody got a manual for my INCA bandsaw or a link to one if possible please. I purchased it in 1983/84 and used it for a while but eventually family life took over and it was abandoned in my small shed to be used like a lot of other things, as a shelf for storing things. I recently moved home after retirement and I am building myself a new shed and larger workshop and have 'repossessed' my old INCA from my old shed as my son who has moved into our old house wants more room for his bike. The years have gone by and my manual with them and I would be very grateful if anyone could help me. Thank you.

Hi John,
Thanks for replying to my query. The manual appears to match up with my machine. I had done a search online myself but could only find one that referred to the INCA euro 260, 342.186, which appears to be a later model which has been upgraded to having the on/off switch on the front face and various knobs replacing the allen key adjustment type. Is it possible to download the manual as a PDF file from the Imgur website as I have never come across this one before? Thanks again for your quick response.

I found this:
https://machineatlas.com/guides/guide-to-inca-woodworking-machines/#inca-band-saws
If you click on the individual model links on the web page, you can see more details.

There is a weird comment on the page saying, "Inca Band Saw Blades need to be welded the other way around compared to most normal band saw blades. Any shop that produces band saw blades will be able to do this for you. If you mention the brand Inca to them, there is a good chance they know about this peculiarity."

That's not true. As long as the blade is the correct length, you can simply flip the blade "inside out" and use it.

I buy my bandsaw blades from a local shop (industrialblade.net) that welds them to order while you wait. I was doubtful about the statement above, so I called the store and confirmed that bandsaw blades have no specific direction. He laughed and told me how customers will occasionally drive long distances to return a blade that was "welded backwards", and the look on the customers' faces when he flips the blades around for them.

Tool Agnostic,
Thanks for the manual pdf files, I have downloaded and printed these out.
I started a reply to your earlier message earlier today but was interrupted by a family visit and after completing it, when I tried to post the message, unfortunately I had been logged out and I lost the message when I pressed the return key, (insert grumpy face emoji here).
Family has now gone so I will try to remember the gist of what I had said earlier. The link you had sent turned out to be very informative and one of the 3 images on there relating to the saws appeared to be the same model as mine with another being a later version, the euro 260. I also tried the link to some Youtube videos one of which showed a gentleman using the same saw as mine which had the on/off switch on the side of the motor.
This leads me to asking you or any other member out there a question regarding the switch. He clicked the switch to the right to run it and clicked it back to switch off. However, having not used mine for over 30 years, am I missing something, as when I turned on my machine, it ran while holding the switch over but as soon as I let go the switch sprung back to the off position?
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
