I am in need of a Herc-u-lift

I am building a custom Island that needs to be movable. The front lifts, and casters won't work as the homeowner doesn't want to be able to see under it. They want the appearance that it is stationary. The Rigid herc-u-lift seems like the right type of lift, but I can't find any info on one anywhere. If anyone has or knows how to find one, that would be helpful. Also, if they know what the weight restriction is that would also help. Thanks you.

I assume you know what they look like, but here's a link to the manual. Good pictures are on page 12, 19, and 31.

Manual lists the weight of the saw as 287 lbs. So the Lift weight limit is north of 300 lbs. The limiting factor is going to be the strength of the tubing it's made of and the dinky-ass mounting bolts it uses as pivots.

Are you sure you actually WANT a Herc-u-lift, though? It's a pretty crappily designed system. Certainly half-assed. Perhaps even quarter-assed.

I'd be willing to part with mine for less than the link ts3660 posted. Of course, mine would be used. Like new condition, though, as I've never really "used" it.

3660 - What'd you replace yours with? Does your replacement actually lift more than 1/4"?

Man, I just sold my Herc-u-lift from my Ridgid TS. I replaced it with a different one. I have to think that Ridgid would sell that. I'll look in my TS3660 manual tonight and see if I can get a part number for one. Then maybe you can google it or something.
