I believe I paid $375 for mine used about 10 years ago. It was almost new. Maybe a different model, but it looks the same as this one.

I wouldn't pay more than 300 bucks for it. Delta doesn't have a very good resale value. Delta has suspended making parts for it decades ago and everyone knows it. It's well known that when Delta discontinues a machine they are making they empty out the parts warehouses to finish production of that model. Consequently you can purchase a brand new machine which parts are no longer available.

 

Everybody likes the big Delta drill presses. Everything working?

 

Oh, and yes, it is in perfect working order.

 

I bought a Delta 14-070 in Dec. from probably about the same time period and it is solid. $325 Used it quite a bit, and now have purchased a laser and depth stop guide to bring it into this century. Also have a yet to be used mortise attachment.

 

There is no price already? Seller asking best offer, auction, etc?

 

It is from someone I know who is offering to sell it so it isn't currently "on the market". I don't think he know what it is worth either.

 

I bought mine new in March 1991. It’s a great drill press. I have used it for 32 years and the only problem was to put new bearings in the quill. Any decent bearing shop can match them up. $300 is a good price even if it needs bearings.

Not yet. Like I said this is not "on the market" just kind of offered to me in conversation. I plan to offer him $300. We'll see how it goes. I think he feels it's worth twice that since his "comp" links were to similar drills listed for $600 or more.

To me it depends on condition. No missing knobs in great shape and I really wanted one/it. $300-$375
