I always wondered if anyone ever bought sod at a yard sale. Anyway, yesterday I passed by a yard sale. I'm an addict, and just had to stop and look around. Found two vises, both were marked $5 each. I got them both for $4 each. The one below needs some cleaning. The other vise is a screw on machinists type.

I'm also addicted to garage sales. I'm going to an auction on Sunday. There auctioning off woodworking tools. Ill let you know if I find anything worth a gloat.

I'm a bit discouraged by garage sales in my area.

For some odd reason most of them start on Friday morning.

I saw a new sign for an estate sale on my way home from work today but they had shut down at 3:00.

By the time I get to poke around in these sales all the good stuff is gone.

Most start on Thursday and run threw Sunday around my area.

That's if their event has been successful. A plus though, late in the day there's a good possibility the prices drop.:yes:

This bird has to be at work by eight.

I hit the sales if I have a weekend off or want to start work a little later on Saturday or Sunday.

You gotta stop; you never know what you'll find. A lot of times I walk through sales twice because I'll completely walk by good stuff on the first pass.

Sometimes there will be a box of stuff, that you can rummage through.
