Having a woodworking show in my town over the weekend - like going to Toys R Us when you were a kid. Alex Snodgrass was there giving his demonstration pretty much verbatim to his video; same bandsaws and everything. Came close to asking him for his autograph..
Sawstop was there and had a big crowd around when they were demoing/explaining how it works; very cool.
Didn't find a lot of bargains but did grab a PC 4212 dovetail jig for $115 (+ tax).
Lots of turning stuff - man that gear gets pricey quick, but fortunately I've been able withstand the siren song so far.

I am thinking about going to one at the end of the month in KC.

Thanks for giving me an idea of whats its like. And letting me know that I should just bring cash and leave the cards at home for my own safety.

Bring your phone; they should have free wifi so you can look up prices live to see if they're a deal or not. Post a pic with you and Alex.
