If I use a router in place of a shaper. I hog out some of it on the table saw first. Just tilt the blade and cut off as much as you can. Makes it much easier on the bit.Toolmaann said:Just a small taste... I'll share the finished project over in showcase.
Pine raised panels. I know, no big deal right? Well, I have the crappiest little 1/4" shank bit to do these with and it's always been a challenge for me. I have a 1/2 shank door kit that includes a raised panel bit, but unfortunately no mounted router or shaper that will accept that bit right now.
Just kind of pleased with the way they turned out. BTW, I had 6 to do, and all came out wonderful.
