Now that I know you have the tools and skill level - like cabinetman said, take measurements of the space you need to fill and draw up plans. All cabinets are made up of a case (simple box best made of cabinet grade plywood) and a face. Top it off with a nice top. When figuring your measurements, allow a half inch on each side of the drawers for the mechanical slides. There are lots of variables to consider like inset or overlay doors or will your drawers use a rail system of slides on the sides?
I would suggest you get a book like "Illustrated Cabinetmaking" by Bill Hylton which is my woodworking go too book when designing my projects. I'm sure other folks have their favorites. These books will give you lots of design features and scales to use in your builds so everything will be symmetrical. There are lots of design features to consider but I'm sure you can get the job done.
