My sister asked me to make her "Pestilence", one of the horses of the Apocalypse from the game "red Dead Redemption"...as a gift for her husband!

And here we go...

Started with some photos as references for possible stances...

...i decided on a simple standing horse...

...cut out a cardboard pattern...

...and got to work...

cutting out the pieces with a saber saw

body pieces all cut

shaping the legs

shaping the body with a rasp

I had already finished cutting out the body parts when my sister asked me to do a galloping stance instead, so i had to cut out new legs!

Fitting the pieces...

more carving and shaping done; applied some putty and filler to the joints...tried out the stand too...

after a LOT of sanding, more shaping, more carving, and even MORE sanding...

good question -- the biblical pale horse is "Death", and im not sure how much of the biblical data was used in the game "Red Dead Redemption", which was the model i used
