I am in search of plans for a unique designed table lamp. I saw the piece and know "something" about it's construction, but it's uniqueness is truly a wonder. I will try to explain with the hope that someone will appreciate what I am driving at.
Four 2X2s (12" long) are placed together. Each of the 4 outside corners are champfered. When the "columns" are turned around, the champfered corners are at the center producing a hole to receive the rod (that will carry the wire). A wavey design is cut from top to bottom with a bandsaw. The overall effect is a 4" square block with the wavy design "kind of" folding into itself. Sorry, but that is the only way I can describe this remarkable piece. I hope someone might recognize this wonder.
Thank you
Alfred

Seems like you know what you want and how to do it.... I suggest you just make it!!! Add your own flare and I bet you will be surprised at how it comes out. The best way to learn is to do!!!

Good Luck

I remember seeing that in a woodworking magazine some time
back. I wish I could remember where, but I do know what you're
talking about. It was pretty cool.
