Yeah, he's absolutley one-of-a-kind. I am in awe of the tail feathers. His skills in design and posture aren't too shabby, either.
Since I first saw his work, I've looked long and hard at the shavings I make from western red cedar, yellow cedar and birch.. . . . . then I sweep them into a corner and go back to the glue-up for a conventional wood carving.
