wood matching

Hi, I am a newbie here. My house has a lot of wood in it, a lot of it is veneer. I'd like to build some new shelves that hopefully match both in grain and color. What wood(s) do you think this is/are? Or what woods should I use to at least try to match? I am going to be using a router along with the usual saws, so I am hoping to find wood that is easy enough to work with. I posted two pics, but I feel the 1st one captures the color better (orangish, light reddish brown). The second photo (of the door) is too brown.

You have more than one kind of wood for one thing. The first picture might be birch or maple and stained with a cherry dye stain. The wood in the second picture is an open grain wood, maybe elm and stained with a walnut oil stain.
You should be able to get a pretty good match if you use cherry (solid or veneered plywood) and American cherry stain.
Just my 2 cents.
