This Cedar was cut from our local cemetary by our landscaping crew and was given to me. They know I like wood and I get alot of phone calls for wood all the time. This should make some nice bowls.
very nice. I am new to turning and am interested in how you wil handle this wood. Will you split out the pith? Can you turn the smaller dia. wood with the pith . Is ceder rather soft and unstayable. How will you dry/age this cedar? I have access to some cedar/arborvitae, and western red in small dia sizes. Thanks
