I bought some wood boards that are like 2.5 metre 7-10 feet long i am not really sure. But i can feel a fir smell . And i try to dry it and it get some cracks i dont know why can i work with wood if its green. I was planing to make blacksmith bellows.

The wood should air-dry, outdoors but sheltered. Make thin sticks to separate the boards in a pile.
Some people paint the ends, some don't and there's a little more splitting.
But to get a moisture content of 10-14%, it takes a year for each 2.5 cm thickness.

Yes you can work the wood green. It may twist or warp more as the thinner pieces dry.

I am doing some wood carving in birch (Betula sp.). It wasn't even covered up.
Maybe 15cm splits in each end.

So i can cut normally with grain and make circle only i think i will need to rasp it

That should cut OK. Do you get nice leather for the bellows?

I think i will use a canvas painted. I cant find good and cheap leather. I only can buy some chlotes jacket and that stuff. HEre is my bellows
