Might have to order some through a lumber company. It appears the only hardwood supplier in the area will only sell to professionals. It is Distributor Services 800-745-1778. Might give them a call to be sure. The hardwood supplier I use only sells to businesses but they have a hobby store in the front that will sell to anyone.
I agree with GeorgeC, Start looking on Craigslist. Expand the search area. Expect it to take a while. Are you looking for kiln dried lumber? White oak is hard to dry. Thick white oak is very hard to dry, prone to concealed drying defects. It takes its own kiln schedule, doesn't dry well in mixed loads. A full kiln charge is a lot of lumber, so it may be available intermittently. If you buy it air dried, be very patient with it
