I have a Jet 12/21 lathe and I am thinking about getting a lathe that is easier to use for left-handed people. Today I turned the lathe around and tried using it like that. I really don't like doing that. The tailstock handle gets in the way big time. I might be able to move the tailstock handle to the other side. I am not sure. Of course, all the controls are on the other side. So you lefties tell me what lathe would you go to.

A lathe with a rotating head like my DVR might be the ticket. When doing the delicate work turning the head out 45 degrees will give more room for the stance you want to use.
