Ok guys I will try topmost picture again.
This tool came with an old lathe I was given, I'm not sure it's part of the lahe parts or not.

We have an introduction section where you can say a few words about yourself. If you fill out your profile in your "User Control Panel", you can list any hobbies, experience or other facts. You can also list your general geographical location which would be a help in answering some questions.

Can't tell from the picture. Could you post a better picture?

Thanks a bunch, this darn thing was bugging me.
It is for a Grizzly Joiner I saw one in the shop where I got the lathe.
Looks to large for a jointer cutter head.

If it is indeed a knife setting jig, I would say it was for a planer.

It does appear to be a jig for a jointer. Don't know how I missed that. Picture wasn't that good on my phone. Anyway I saw this image, and it looks to be very similar.

I wonder if they also make a larger set for a planer, and that is possibly what he has?

It just looks larger in his pic, then the one you linked to.

I've been wrong before...

EDIT
After further review... I agree, It is for a jointer.

That was the second time I've been wrong...
