I am thinking about buying this bench and was wondering what type of oil would be best to use to protect it and how often I should apply it? It will be sitting inb my front garden exposed to lots of sunlight, heat, humidity, rain, frost, etc...

Also, I would build then bench myself I just dont have time and want something quickly.
