I have quite a few rolls of this stuff I received from a family member, he said it was used in furniture finishing. I'm just wondering how much it is worth and what purpose it serves. Thanks, Justin.

It looks kinda like gold leafing used to put a gold finish to things like picture frames. I would take it to one of those places that buys gold and have them test it. They could identify the type of metal it is.

It's for foil stamping. You can use a woodburning pen on it and write in gold letters. I think you use it dull side down. At work we use it with dies on a letterpress and a heated platen to foil stamp images onto paper.
Interesting, any idea of the value of all of these?

Gold leaf doesn't handle well. It's very fragile.

Yes, you are very right Cabinetman and doesn't it come with paper between the gold leafs?

It's a shame you live so far. I'm in Greece. I'd like to know if I could laser cut through those sheets. Does anyone know where you can buy these commercially? What are they called exactly?
