What file to sharpen auger bits?

What file is used to sharpen the auger bits used in a traditional brace?

We are getting ready to work in a wilderness area and need to use hand tools. I have found sources for most of the tools, but don't remember the name of the file used for the bits tools

This is a very timely topic for me since I just picked up some auger bits today.

Never heard of such a file - until now. Awesome! Thank you! Will have to get one when I can so I can put my new to me auger bits back into service.

It is a bit of a pain in the adze. We do as much work as we can in town and fly it out for final assembly.

The buildings are in the Frank Church Wilderness Area, but the airstrip adjacent to them isn't. We use mule drawn equipment to maintain the airstrip, to keep it smooth enough for the airplanes to land on.

We put a new 3000-gallon water tank in a couple of years back. It took a 4-man crew a month to hand dig the hole. Luckily we were allowed to place the tank with a helicopter. It would have been a real nightmare to raft it down the Middle Fork, and drag it a half mile away from the river and up about a hundred and fifty feet.
