With job I travel around southern Missouri, western Kentucky southern Illinois and north east Arkansas. Sometimes I have enough time I can hit the pawn shops ect and look for cheap tools. Today in Paducah Ky I found a Frued Ft2000 router for $60 in good shape and working order. I managed to talk them down to $50.

You did well. I've had one of those since the early 90's for hand held use when I need the largest bits. They came with 1/2" and 1/4" collet/nut sets, I hope you got both. Best thing is, you can still get parts for them, only you go through Bosch to do it. Guess that was part of the deal when they bought the Freud bits/blade business.

I actually have another that I had bought a couple of years ago. I couldn't pass up the deal and now I can replace the Dewalt from my main router table. I also have three Hitachi routers which will now see use for edge routing and dovetailing.
