Had posted a little while back of the elm logs I had gotten milled, finally got around to cutting them into usable (for me) pieces. The white stuff is anchor seal. Still pretty wet.
They're all 2 ft long--- right size, there's just one of me.

Nice haul. What do you use elm for cuerodoc? Elm is a nice looking wood. The interlocking grain makes it a little tough to work for some folks but usually the end result makes it worth the work.
Allen, I use it for turning. :yes:
The grain patterns are really nice--and yep the interlocking makes it hell to sand evenly. :laughing:
