Unisaw, Rockwell Delta

My Unisaw Model 34-461 just gave up the ghost. I believe that the Contactor is at fault and since the saw is old I can't find a new contractor switch which is listed as Furnas P/N 438-01-016-0142.

Would anyone know what modern-day manufacturer and part number might replace this contactor switch?

Love my normally trouble-free saw and hopefully can get it functioning again. Any leads are appreciated
Thank you.

Post pictures of the amperage and voltage ratings on the contactor you have.
Unless that number you gave crosses over to another manufacturer you'll need to go by the ratings.
I had a contactor go bad on my 3 HP Min Max bandsaw.
I replaced it with a 240 volt rated double pole switch, much simpler.
Contactors have there place in industrial setting where the power and drop out and then restart while the machine is under load and may throw the material back OR cut off hands and fingers when it comes back on.
Home shop settings are not required to have that safety protection as far as I know.
Grizzly has a good assortment of switches and contactors:
I would recommend this one for your saw:

I use this switch on my 230 volt table saws and the Min Max bandsaw
Thanks for your response. I know basic house wiring but when I get into this industrial electrical stuff I get over my head real fast. if I purchase the Grizzly magnetic switch and a paddle switch, I like these, they would replace the whole Rockwell motor starter and existing switch. I assume it would come with directions. That sounds like a way out of my dilemma. Thanks
A 240 volt single phase motor will have 3 wires going to/coming from the switch.
There will be two legs of 120v, normally a red, and a black, the other wire no.3, will be a neutral, white.
The switches will have 4 terminals that are switched, two in from the supply and two out to the motor.
The whites all get tied together.
The switch works like this: green in for on, red in for off.

For home use I would just put in a box and a toggle switch on it like a light switch. They are available in 220v too if that is what you need. If you feel like you need a magnetic switch there are many which could be installed on your saw. It just wouldn't be an exact replacement.
We can help, as woodnthings suggested, post up pictures
Any contactor will work that fits in the box
Need to know coil voltage and amperage. Overloads?

My first router table was like that. The first time I needed to turn it off right away and my hand didn't go right to that little switch, that was the end of that.

What HP, line voltage, and phase are we talking? Also, is your overload protection and control switch in the same box?
