Let me say first, I have no clue what I'm about to do. A buddy of mine is leaving the unit were at in October. I've made plenty of Marine Corps boxes and such.

Accidentally hit done. Oops. I plan to have a lot of oops. Anyway. He asked for a ukulele. I looked at him like he was crazy and then started the bing searches.
Today I got this.

That being said, last Friday I got this.

So I'm crippled for a little while. But I swore I'd keep a detailed log of my next build. And here it is. From scratch, hardwood and more hardwood. No kits. Just plans. Stay tuned. Hopefully it'll at least LOOK like a ukulele.
