I am building a real waterwheel for a customer that is about 7' tall and 16" wide. Thickness of materials needed is 6/4 to 8/4. It will be turned on mostly on the weekends. Water dumps on top and turns to stream below. Reasonable cost on wood is factor in type to use. Any suggestions from anyone that has done this. I am in Calif.:bangin:
Thanks for letting me pick your brains everyone. It looks like cedar may be the best choice due to availability and that in rough form it will look aged alot quicker. I will keep try to post some pics if I remember how to use that darn camera at the right times instead of waiting till I am all done.
