I just did the spiral goblet you see above, the spirals are all about careful rotary tool work * a lot of sanding. Basically turn your project solid, do everything you can to complete all aspects of the build. Then draw your spiral on the piece and start carefully removing material. When you get close to the lines, start sanding.:thumbsup: Just the finial on my project took over 10 hours.
