Had noticed that one chainsaw was not running well. Fixed that--- then had to try out the ripping chain that I'd bought. Still had the Huisache (Acacia sp.) on my trailer and now have slabs to put up. Saw (20 in. Blade) is in pic for scale. Most are ~ 4 in. thick.
Because of how this tree grows-usually having multiple trunks that intertwine and coalesce, the slabs will have inclusions and lots of figure. Interesting orange hue. Uncommon to get a bowl bigger than 8 inches across. Very HARD wood.
