Are there any toy makers in here? I would like to start making some and a discussion with some experience would be nice. Woods, finishes, techniques etc. That kinda thing. I think I mentioned this awhile back about the issues related to Chinese made things and would like to contribute to the Made in USA world. Besides putting a smile on a kids face would be a nice feeling.

I have made a few toys... but I wouldn't call myself a "maker".

I have made the cars, on the bandsaw... & others... not all...

Those Lincoln Logs that someone posted about were super good, IMHO.

Anyway... take a look... I think you'll find something that will 'turn you on'.
