You can get any chisels you need by mail order from www.garretwade.com . I'm a woodcarver too and I wouldn't go overboard trying to find the best most expensive chisels. I see very little difference in the different brands of chisels I have. The flat chisels I use are Harbor Freight carpenters chisels. They sharpen and hold an edge as well as any I have and all together I have 35. Even the Bavarian woodcarver I took classes from liked the idea of using carpenters chisels with the plastic handles.
