Hi guys. Sad to say it's been awhile since i've posted or even logged into the forums but now i'm getting back to the groove. I also havn't turned a single piece of wood since back in early may which is saddening as well. I've got my lathe just about all set up at home with the exception of a motor. I've been working with a company that is selling my bowls on commision and they've asked if it was possible to turn some larger, figured bowls. this got me thinking and sort of dreaming. my lathe is just an older craftsman, 12" table top. to be honest i havn't used it once, it was inherited. i'm debating whether i should fork up the 100 bucks for now for a motor or whether i should just plain upgrade to a 14 or 16" that has outboard capabilities. If i get a new lathe, i'm not sure what to get. jet has a couple out there but they're pretty pricey, any good places for used lathes? heres also a picture of the last bowl i did.
