I've got an old Delta contractors saw (belt driven) that I think I'd like to build a new base for. Currently it has the standard box square base that I originally drilled two holes and put some 6" wheels/axle on the back for moving it about. Anyway, I think I'm finally tired of lifting the front side to move it and would like some more storage for accessories. Thinking about a base that has lockable castors, drawers on each side, and maybe the center is open for a saw dust catch on the backside.

Anyone built one before? If so, would you mind posting some pics and recommendations.

Thanks

Thanks Daryl! That's what I'm talking about. The one I'm thinking about is like the center one, but without the extension and another set of drawers on the left side. I built a b-type fence a while back for another saw, but would probably keep the stock fence. Would also like to put on a new bump switch so I can just "bump" it with my knee to turn it off.

Thanks again...
