How about a miter saw with a 1" arbor? My craftsman professional miter saw model 21235 uses that size blade and arbor

My 1980's era 12" Craftsman motorized saws take 5/8" arbor blades, but I use 10" for almost everything I do.

my ulterior motive....

I recently picked up a Freud SD508 8" Super Dado set with the 4 wing chippers that had just been sharpened. Drag is the seller did not mention the set had also been bored for a 1" arbor so I cannot use it (the shims shown for reference have a 5/8" bore). My plan was to have some type of vote from you guys to see who would get it for just the cost of shipping however since it looks like woodnthings is the only one with a 1" arbor saw I guess it should go to him by default if he wants it! :smile:

You could just get bushings for the blades and use the set. Your saw sharpener should be able to fix you up.

OK it has been exactly 24 hours since I posted this however the 15 minute deal expired so now we'll have to charge you full price for the second one! :smile: If you PM me your address I'll get it in the mail for you asap. BTW, it will fit in a large USPS flat rate priority box so whatever they charge is what it will cost you. :smile:
