This is from a log I got off the side of the road then left laying in the yard for I can't remember how long well over a year maybe close to two. When I cut it up it sure didn't look like Bradford anymore. This one is around 6 1/2" x 2 1/2" and I left the bottom flat because I like the grain. I left some of the edges broken since they broke along the curl in the grain which I thought was cool.

That's what I like about spalting...you never know if it's gonna change a little or a lot!!! BEAUTIFUL Bowl!!!! and I also like the broke edging...gives it character!!!

Its got a ton of interesting character to it. I really like the wild and wacky spalting, inclusions, and grain changes.

The burn lines are a cool offset for the asymetrical rim on the bowl.

Nice piece!
