first off I took everything apart most refinishers only slap a coat of paint on but I wanted to give it the whole meal deal as you would say. I started sanding witch took forever by the way as it was covered in some kind of material and 2 different coats of paint underneath. I wanted it to look as original as possible but wanted it to be well put together so I fixed up any cracks and missing cracked off wood and then resanded it all to a nice rinish then stained it all separately for good coverage and glued and screwed it all back together which would have been easier if I had marked them as it took a couple dry fits before it all fit right and then I varnished it all in three coats of semi gloss and reused all the old hardware.
