I did this when I was in highschool and havent been in a woodshop since :censored: :thumbdown:


Butcher block out of rock hard 8/4" white maple, A piece was a little wet still when I was ripping it and it actually stopped our 5hp powermatic table saw, the thing started smoking it was wild.












Some bowls I turned, I have a ton more (my better ones) but they are in storage, I also have a bunch that i've given away for gifts.

I'm realizing now the drawer should have been flush mounted for aesthetics, oh well ill make another :thumbsup:

Also the dovetails are a little shaky

Looks excellent to me, alas have no room for such a magnificent piece of practical kitchen furniture.
Loved your bowls too.
