These are the first set of cutting boards that I produced. They were created with my limited tool collection, but were fun to build none the less. I plan on creating a few more as gifts for relatives.
Thank you. I use the product shown in the image. I bought it from Woodcraft which sells a 12oz. bottle for a couple dollars less than Home Depot. I apply three coats to each side, letting it soak in for 20 minutes per side.
The first board is Curly Maple with two strips of Walnut. Here are a couple of better pics of that particular cutting board.
