I'm planning to build a solar kiln sometime in the next 12-18 months.
Planning to dry up to 2000 bd ft. during a year or two.
What are some of the best things to be sure and include in a good unit that will be located one hour south of the 45 parallel in Micigan?
I have a loader tractor, with home made fork lift tongs & a weak back.
Looking for a modestly priced good operating kiln that will last a few years.
Thanks:smile:

:smile:Thanks for the info and the many responses to questions asked in the past. All the good info will come in handy as I go down the road to good wood drying. The VT site looks good, but I wish I had more specific specs for the kiln construction.
Thanks again
