I cannot find a sharpening service in the Jacksonville, Fl. area to true up and redo the bevels on two old wooden rabbet planes.
I am not going to use my bench grinder as this would spell disaster. I have all of the Lee Valley rests etc. and I still savage anything I try with them.
Does anyone know of a service I could send them to get the bevels redone as they are round and the cutting edges have humps in them?
I can free hand sharpen well but I will end up spending more time flattening water stones than sharpening.
Sand paper is also going to try my patience of which I have little. Thank you.

Sharpening

Thanks George. None of them will grind a skew iron. I found a wood worker who uses mostly hand planes and he will do it.
