Got any shop mottos....things you find yourself saying repeatedly over the decades?
Here are a few of mine:

Good enough is best.

Perfect is good enough.

This is the Earth.

Do the next thing.

There were dumb people then [too].

Pain is a good teacher.

NO rules allowed.

The beginning of woodworking is metalworking.

Time is a flood; don't trust glue.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Why is it, there is never enough time to do it right the first time, but ALWAYS enough time to do it right the second time?

If you make it to the print, you are never wrong. It may not work but you are never wrong.

Stupid hurts.

After building anything, my Father would say," It ain't too purty, but it's hell for stout!"
