I did a quick search and didn't spot anything, so I'll ask.

Has anyone built a tool rest for their grinder?

I have a cheap Ryobi grinder, which runs smoothly and consistently, but, for practical purposes, has no tool rest. Since I have it mounted permanently to a piece of plywood anyway (so I can just clamp it down when I need it), building a separate rest seems simplest. I'm somewhat inclined to try to copy the Veritas jig, since I have plenty of hardboard and 1/2" plywood lying around, but I thought I'd see if anyone had a better idea.
