Ive been thinking about selling lumber by the board on ebay. I see people selling planed boards and getting good money for them. I was wondering if anyone has bought or sold lumber on ebay. How would you ship the boards wrapped in plastic, cardboard or bubble wrap? I have a few thousand bf of lumber that I got for a really good price and I tried selling it on craigslist for really cheap but did not have any takers. Are there any websites that are for selling wood? Im low on money and need to sell some, not to mention I could use the garage space.

What's cheap? What do you have? Central Pa is pretty big can you narrow it down a bit?

I'd be interested in a bit of that curly spalt you've got.

I would be interested in some spalted curly maple as well. Could you post a pic or 2 to show what you're offering?
I will be passing through your area on August 5th (a Monday) sometime early in the afternoon...

I've bought from ebay previously. I picked up some really nice stuff before the price of fuel/shipping went through the roof. The guys I used to buy from rarely if even posts anything anymore...probably for the past several years now.

Let's see some pics of that spalted, curly maple and the walnut. I might be interested if the shipping isn't too crazy.

Wow man that stuff is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! I have no idea what I'd even make out of it at the moment, but who cares?? It'll come to me I'm sure.
Like I said, Monday August 5th I can detour through your area on my way home from Center County. I'll PM you my phone number, email, etc. I'd love it if we could coordinate a time.

I'll take at least 50 board ft no doubt.
