Seeking super miniature piano hinge.

Hi!
Among other things, we build architectual models, prototypes, and dollhouse furniture for a living.
We are stumped here...Do any of you guys know of a source of super miniature piano hinges (roughly 1/10 - 1/12 scale).
We suppose we could build jig(s), use a miniature bending brake, fuss a great deal (hassle), and the production time would kill any profit margin (we also need to eat now and then LOL) on the entire finished products! We may need 125 - 500 pieces. We used to be in the patternmaking field, and in the hobby/miniature business, but not one of our former contacts seem to be able to help!
This contract won't make us rich, but will help in overhead, rent, food! As we all know, times are rough, now !
Thank you Guys,
Marena and Vinny

miniature piano hinges

Hi all !
Happy New Year to All!
We could have been clearer as to what we meant by 1/10 - 1/12 scale. Think of O scale model trains (Lionel) which are roughly 1/48 scale, meaning if one were to line up 48 scale locomotives in a row, their combined length would equal the length of a full scale loco of the same type.
In our case, we need miniature piano hinges that are no wider than 1/12 of standard full size hinges. We could live with 1/10 (bit larger than 1/12 scale) if we have to. Full scale are between 1-1/4" and 1-1/2" when fully opened. Length is not a concern. This breaks down to approx. 3/16" open size ! We may be able to grind off the excess from a 1/4" open size brass hinge !
We are aware that this is a tall order!
Any thoughts?
Best to you Guys, Marena

I don't think 3/16 is physically enough space for the hinge mechanism and some way to attach the hinge to anything. If there is one, I don't think it would be useable due to a lack of strength. There are some places that make dollhouse pianos. Maybe one of them can help.

Buy a piano hinge and cut the holes off. Then drill new screw holes as close to the hinge you can. The problem then would be the size of the hinge barrel (?). Just a thought....
