I don't know if this is a secret or not, but at least it got you to read it. If you use a finishing sander, or a ROS (random orbit sander) with a H/L (hook and loop) pad, you can place on the pad a scotchbrite pad instead of sandpaper, and it works and sticks pretty good. You may want to trim the scotchbrite pad before stickin' it, so the corners won't catch on anything. Let us know how you like it after you try it!
