Can anyone suggest a brand of drum sander to buy? It would be for cabinet doors mostly.
Thanks Jim
Hi Jim,

I'm working on a small drum type sander which would be good for what you want to do.

You can also go to the www.stockroomsupply.com website to see video demos, etc.

I haven't finished mine... will play with it... and modify, etc. as desired.

I'm working on a better way of controlling the table HT. adjustment. :)

Hope this helps you.

Hey Joe, where you going with that drum sander

in your hand? Sorry, couldn't resist. But seriously, don't you then have a problem with sanding across the grain of the rails.
If you take the proper time to set up your tooling, the joints should finish just fine with a ROS.

Ed, I thought about that too...

In some of their Demo videos, they used to have a section doing this exact job; doors... After seeing it, it all made sense to me...
Take a look and give us your feedback...

I got the 18" kit... but others, going for doors, would probably go bigger.
