Tough day in the wood shop, had several projects just "blow up", guess I should expect that now and then. Thing was, these were "good" pieces of wood or so I thought. I did manage to make a couple of nice pieces though.
This one is Huisache (Acacia sp), really like it because it takes a finish well and has beautiful graining.
It's 5 in tall x 5.5 wide. Used my normal friction polish.
The second is a bowl from Bois d'Arc (Osage Orange). 10 x 2.5 in with routine friction polish. Really like how it came out.
