Anyone have or know anything about this lathe and what it may be worth. It's being sold by a junior high school and has been rarely used. They just took the cover off it and decided to sell it do it can go to good use. They have no idea how much to sell it for but don't want just give it away or rip someone off either.

Pretty sure when talking to the principle of 14 years and it's been there at least that long

Going to view it Monday.

Depending on tools with it and shape - anywhere from $200-300 seems fair.

Well think I'm going to skip on it. I offered in an email $400 and reference other sites that showed them selling between $200 and $600. Never heard back on it but checked the ad again to see how many views were on it. They put a price if $1600 on it. !!

Well I bought it! Not for the $1600 but bit more than the $400 I wanted to pay. After seeing and the accessories that come with it, we'll worth the price. It is a duplicator that was pictured underneath and they have it set up with one template made out of 1/8 steel to make salt and pepper shakers. Looked to be about 6-7 chisels. Lots of faceplate and centers. Hopefully be able to pickup on Friday. It is very heavy! Lifted it onto a flat cart with help to move to where there was only one receptacle that would power it up.

Will post picture when I get everything sorted out. Looking forward to turning :)
