Riving Knife not aligned with blade

mess not with the arbor and it's washers/spacers.

the riving knife mounts in a "clamp" type arrangement.
first thing is to be sure the riving knife is in it's "slot" and is flush clamped"
there's not a lot of clearance in the slot or the locating pins - it's easy to close the clamp with the riving knife not properly seated in the clamp.

second, make sure there's no debris in the clamping mechanism - not a common thing, but it can happen....

if the riving knife is still not aligning with the blade, the solution is to move the riving knife, not the saw blade.
there is a bracket that holds the riving knife clamp (p 51)
it bolts up to the motor - that's the "H" letter location.
those bolt holes should be elongated - allowing you to loosen the bracket and move it slightly.
it needs to align 'left-right' and also 'vertically' aka "plumb" - so check both alignments carefully before pronouncing it "good"
