I got a rikon grinder a few wees ago and love it.After assembly it worked great out of the box.The wheels
ran true and the motor runs silent. Also using a wolverine jig
with it for sharpening my lathe tools.

Joe,
I have a local Woodcraft store just a few miles away and know the store owner quite well. He said they were having quality issues with the wolverine grinders they used to sell. The Rikons have been better quality and he hasn't had any trouble with them. For the money, I think they are a pretty good deal.

Picked it up Fri, put it together Sat. Runs very smooth and quiet. Today mount it to the bench with my Veritas tool rest and get to sharpening. Also put my old 6" Craftsman on CL.
